Chihuly!

Today I went to a gallery in the Central West End in St. Louis that was showing some work done by one of my favorite artists, Dale Chihuly. He works with glass, usually on a large scale, to make amazing shapes with vibrant colors. It looks like he pulled some of these pieces straight out of a coral reef. I'd love to work with glass sometime - as a medium is allows for all sorts of shapes and colors, different levels of transparency, layers of material... The price tags on these things were THRU THE ROOF! I took some pictures:
